Network Protocols

In technology Area, there're large number of users which communicate with different devices in different languages. That also includes many ways in which they transmit data along with the different software they implement. So, communicating worldwide will not be possible if there were no fixed 'standards' that will govern the way user communicates for data as well as the way our devices treat those data. Here we will be discussing these standard set of rules.

Types of Protocoles :

There are several types of protocols that support a major and compassionate role in communicating with different devices across the network. These are:
  1. - Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) / Internet Protocol (IP) : it used to share datas between computers by internet.
  2. - User Datagram Protocol (UDP) : it used to match between call channel and user application
  3. - Post office Protocol (POP) : this system works with software layer. it used to fetch messages of mails to a specific user. It require to user its username and password to load his email from the server to his machine
  4. - Simple mail transport Protocol (SMTP) : it used to send messages to a specific recepient. The vast majority of mails uses this protocole which it uses the TCP/IP protocol to transfer datas using the port 25 to send.
  5. - File Transfer Protocol (FTP) : it used to share datas between computer and server, it's largely omposes its control over transmission.(ip system)
  6. - Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) : it used to load datas in the web page; send and recieve HTML pages
  7. - Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) : simply it's the version secured of the HTTP protocole
  8. - Telnet
  9. - Gopher
